Kids for Character video is produced by the CHARACTER COUNTS! Coalition, a national partnership of leading education and youth development organizations dedicated to the promotion of character development based on the six core ethical values. Kids for Character is designed for use by parents, grandparents, teachers, and child care providers.

*To teach character development to children using the six core ethical values; trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
*to encourage consistent teaching and modeling of good character.


  1. Incorporate into a Children's TV and Video Festival

  2. Work with schools, libraries, day care centers, churches, etc. to present the video and accompanying activities to children ages 2 to 10 years.

  3. Donate the video to schools, libraries, day care centers, churches, etc.

CHOICES COUNT! is a new video produced by CHARACTER COUNTS! for children ages 2-10. It is a companion and sequel to "Kids for Character". CHOICES COUNT! is a home video which helps parents and educators to teach young children about choices, consequences and conscience. It is available through:
