PROGRAM AWARD DISPLAY BOARD GUIDELINES
Purpose:
- A. Winning display boards will receive vouchers for FCE educational materials in the following amounts: 1st place - $175; 2nd place - $100; 3rd place - $50
B. Winners will be recognized at Annual Conference
- Create a format which allows a wider audience to view successful National FCE programs presented in the states. The Display Board must support the Program Award Book and must be on a National FCE program/project.
- Create a format for FCE members to become skilled in:
A. Marketing FCE visually
B. Designing eye-catching displays to be stand-alone program/project promotion pieces
Each state must enter ONE DISPLAY BOARD FOR EACH PROGRAM AWARD BOOK.
Only one display board may accompany a Program Award Book. The Display Board must be the same board as the one photographed for the last page of the Program Award Book. There must not be any changes in the board from the time it is photographed or it will not be judged.
Arrange programs support materials - photos, certificates, promotional articles and other items of interest used in the project to make your display board(s) visually understood. Mark any other accompanying accessories with your state and award category before shipping.
It is recommended that Hearth Fire #12, "Someone's K.I.S.S.ing in Public", be used as a reference for designing Display Boards. (See 2 on Display Board Score Sheet)
Display Boards that do not follow these guidelines will not be judged.
Display boards must be shipped to arrive at Conference by the Monday before Conference begins.
